B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences is an autonomously run medical college situated in the city of Dharan, in the Sunsari district towards the eastern part of Nepal. The medical college is academically linked to the Primary Health Care Centres, District and zonal hospitals of Nepal. Many Indian student s are enrolled into the MBBS programme of this medical institution. The degree awarded by this university is approved by Medical Council of India as well as World Health Organization. Both UG & PG courses are available for study.
Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences has granted affiliation to many medical colleges in Nepal to run MBBS courses. KUSMS has been associated to Dhulikhel Medical Institute (DMI) since 1998.
