One thing we should like about Kerala with respect to MBBS admissions; is their control over the fee of these medical colleges.

For your information, Kerala government keeping the limitations of the financial capacity of the NEET qualified MBBS aspirants; is to regulate the fees structure of the Self-financed private medical colleges.

Hence, the Admission Supervisory Commission has fixed the fee per annum; for these privates to collect from the eligible candidates is Rs 5.5 lacs per annum.

However, the yearly fees for NRI quota eligible MBBS aspirants; is Rs 20 lacs tuition fee per annum excluding other fees.

At the time writing this article, there are 24 self-financing medical colleges in Kerala with a total number of MBBS seats are 2450.
