Seats of 7 Medical Colleges Recognized.
There are as many 355 medical colleges in India. All of these institutions are permitted by MCI to admit the eligible students of India to pursue a four & half years MBBS Course. Every year the MCI does the assessments of these colleges in order to come to conclusion of whether or not the institutions with the seats that are known as permitted till certain mandatory period to be given recognition.

326 Permitted Seats Recognized By MCI
From the above chart it can be understood that 7 colleges till 2012-13 were having 326 permitted status. The institutions had offered 326 permitted seats for inspection to MCI for recognition. Hence from the year 2012-13 all of the above mentioned institutions are considered to be having all its seats given recognition by MCI. It also indicates that the above said institutions have their facilities as per the norms set by MCI.
