Should the Tamil Nadu state run medical colleges be NEET exempted?

This is an interesting question on National Eligibility cum Entrance Test.

However, some liked minded doctors association has mooted this point for implementation as well as for debate.

The doctor’s body initiating this proposal is “Doctors Association for Social Equality”.

The body approached the Chennai District Collectors office with this demand.

However, this association for social equality emphasized that the private universities of the state should come under the purview of NEET.

Here again private universities means the deemed status medical colleges that need to take NEET ranks for admission.

Nonetheless, another question arises whether the privately owned; and thus managing-trust colleges having affiliation to the state government universities will come under NEET or not.

Thus there is no clarity in this just born demand from Doctors Association for Social Equality.”
